포맨은 젊은 남성층의 한복 소비를 장려하기 위한 F/W 남성 한복 컬렉션이다.

서양식 바지와 한복의 포를 매치하여 조금 더 쉽게 소비자들의 옷장에 녹아들 수 있도록 하였으며, 기존 생활한복 브랜드에서 많이 다루지 않는 셔츠나 가디건 등을 제작하였다. 두루마기, 답호, 창의, 철릭, 도포를 중점적으로 디자인하며, 과장된 검은색 깃을 통해 컬렉션 전체의 통일성을 추구하였다.

As borders between cultures become thinner, putting effort into establishing what is ours and what is not has gained importance. While a united definition for heritage is not achievable, having a personal definition for what is considered heritage is important to an individual’s identity. PoMen is my definition of what heritage and tradition is.

PoMen is a male hanbok collection for the F/W seasons. It is aims to promote everyday wear of hanbok by incorporating western pants along with hanbok po’s. The collection shows off items not commonly found in other hanbok brands like shirts and cardigans. The designs were based off of 5 different po’s: durumagi, dapho, changyi, chullik, and dopo. An exaggerated black git(collar) was used throughout the collection to bring it together.
